49 ¾”overall, 33” sighted Damascus browned barrel with .577  three groove rifling, ramp and ladder rear sights, signed J. ADSETT GUNMAKER GUILDFORD, border engraved lock, full stocked with chequered fore-end and wrist, the sideplate area inset with a white metal plaque engraved with a crest, barrel retained with wedges, regulation brass mounts the trigger guard tang with owner's initials WJE and dated 1860, steel ramrod.

Rifle in good condition with very good rifling.
