32” Damascus barrels, blade fore sight, gold lined patent breaches inlayed “ Manton London ” in gold. Gold touch holes, London proofs. Finely engraved tang, flat signed and engraved locks with waterproof V shaped pans, finely engraved French cocks, rollers on frizzen springs. Highly figured walnut stock with chequered wrist, raised cheek piece, engraved steel mounts decorated with game birds. Scrolled trigger guard and trigger plate with pineapple finial, silver barrel bolt escutcheons, brass tipped ramrod with worm.
No 3803 Circa 1802.
Good condition with good bore, minor pits. Cracked wrist expertly repaired.
