A Good William IV Flintlock Pattern 1824 Sea Service Pistol. 15" overall, 9" round steel 25 bore barrel with King's Proof to l/h side & inspector's mark on top of breech. Border engraved flat lockplate engraved with WR cipher & inspector’s stamp, government ownership stamps, border engraved ring necked cock. Walnut full stock stamped with inspector's marks & Board of Ordnance mark. Ordnance pattern brass furniture, swivel ramrod & belt hook to l/h side.
Circa 1830-7.
Good Condition, with original black paint finish to barrel minor dents to wood.
