A Fine Scottish Heart Butt Flintlock Pistol. 16” overall,11” barrel with cannon muzzle profusely inlaid with silver & brass decoration: silver roundels engraved with roses, engraved brass tulip heads, silver bands and panels engraved with foliage. The lock of Highland form with traces of signature (could be Robert Munro), stock of iron with engraved silver band around heart shaped butt, with simple line engraving. Ball trigger & pricker pierced with four crosses. Ring decorated belt hook and baluster tipped iron rammer.
In good condition, finely engraved silver inlays, muzzle shortened.
