A high quality gun in very good condition by an uncommon maker.

‘Wiggan and Elliott’ were John Wiggan (1797-1875) & Henry Elliott (b. abt 1821). John, uncle to Henry, was a tavern owner, & gunmaker by 1835 in Whittall Street Birmingham. After John's death in 1875 Henry continued the business as Elliott and Sheldon but it appears to have closed around 1888.
