Side lock action stamped ‘Burnside Rifle Co Providence RI’. Breech engraved ‘Burnside Rifle Company Model of 1864’ and numbered 389. Action with central guide screw, under lever trigger guard with release latch to open breech, steel butt plate, fore end band and sling bar.
