A Cased Pair of Flintlock Muff Pistols by Goodwin & Co. 5 ¼” overall, 1 3/8”round 120 bore turn off barrels, decorated with foliate bands at the muzzle ends, Birmingham proofs, round actions signed ‘ Goodwin & Co’ beneath the pans to the left & engraved ‘LONDON’ to the right, panels engraved with stands of arms, flip down triggers, fitted with sliding safety catches that also lock the pans, swelling walnut butts cut with micro chequering, vacant oval escutcheons: in its Original Walnut and blue velvet lined and fitted pistol case, with accessories including a good very small pistol flask, bullet mould, flints.
