Very attractive sword in good condition.
Leslie Southwick has almost certainly identified the owner of the mark HH conjoined; see: L. Southwick, ‘The Hertford Civic Sword of State, 1680, struck with the rare silver-hilt maker’s mark of Hugh Humphries’, Journal of the Arms & Armour Society, Vol. 22, No. 6 (September 2018), pp. 304-331.
