A Fine East India Percussion Service Pistol. 14 ½” overall, 8” sighted 16 bore smooth barrel, proofs on LH side of breech, flat lockplate with crown over ‘EIG’ & broad arrow at the tail, & ‘Birmingham 1871’. Stamped ‘EIG Birmingham’ within a roundel, & ‘Bentley & Playfair.’ Regulation brass mounts with lanyard ring & swivel ramrod.
Dated 1871.
In near mint unfired condition, barrel blue and case hardened lock plate unmarked.
