
A 1st Life Guards Officers State Sword 1834 Pattern by Andrews. 44” overall, 37 ½” blade with wide fuller & spear point, etched with a small panel of scrolling foliage & ‘Andrews 9 Pall Mall’ on one side & Crown over W IV on both sides. Regulation pierced steel hilt decorated with 12 brass studs & applied with the regimental device, wire bound fish skin grip with brass stepped pommel, with correct buff leather sword knot. Contained in its original brass mounted steel scabbard.
