A Very Fine Cased Bank Note Engraved Colt London Navy Revolver. 13 ¾” overall, 7 ½” octagonal barrel with bead foresight & address ‘Col Colt London’ between arrows, London proof marks on cylinder, naval cylinder scene with ‘Engraved by W. H. Ormsby. New York’, frame stamped on left hand side ‘Colts patent’ in a scroll. Large silver plated trigger guard & backstrap, parts numbered 19042 over a dot (wedge not removed so cannot confirm numbered). Varnished figured walnut grips. In its original oak dark green velvet lined London case with ‘Directions for Loading Colt’s Pistols’ label in the lid, original accessories comprising a large Dixon Patent Colts Navy Flask’, Colts patent iron bullet mould, turnscrew, cleaning rod & Jackson cap tin.

Pistol in good condition, crisp action, silver plate to trigger guard & back strap very good, most original finish. Walnut grips fine, case in good condition.
