A Very Rare Early Two Way Powder Flask by Twigg. 5 ¼” overall, of triangular tapering form with tortoiseshell leather cover, lacquered finish to the brass, baluster spout engraved ‘TWIGG PISTOLS’ with a hinged lit to contain balls in the base of the flask.
Circa 1765-70.
Very rare, I have never seen one similar, made for the earliest cased duelling pistols, good condition
