14” overall, 8” octagonal barrel with short blade foresight, engraved on top flat ‘Patented Sept 14, 1858 Remington Sons, Illon , New York, USA, New Model’, stamped underneath number 51592, solid frame with sighting groove on top strap. Hinged loading lever under barrel, six shot cylinder spur hammer, brass trigger guard. Walnut two piece grip with inspector’s cartouche. Numerous inspectors’ marks on frame, barrel & cylinder.

In good condition with some original finish.
