A Fine Cased Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver. 9 ½” overall, 4” octagonal barrel with 2 line ‘ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY’. Cylinder with stagecoach scene. Action marked ‘Colt Patent’. Brass silver plated trigger guard, grip & back strap. Varnished one piece walnut grips. In its original red velvet lined American style walnut case numbered 102768 for the pistol, key hole escutcheon marked ‘Colts Patent’ complete with powder flask, Colt pocket iron bullet mould without a sprue cutter, Eley cap tin.

Pistol in good condition, matching numbers, some finish, varnished grips very good. Not at all sure about the case, looks old, never seen one like it before.
