A Colt 1849 Pocket Revolver. 11 ½” overall, 6” barrel with 2 line ‘Adress Saml Colt New York City’. Cylinder with stagecoach scene. Action marked ‘Colt Patent’. Silver plated trigger guard, grip & back strap. Varnished walnut grips. Trigger guard & barrel with military inspectors’ stamps. Faintly engraved ‘7th ACO.’ on bottom of the butt.

In good condition, matching numbers, some finish, varnished grips very good.
It has been suggested that 7th ACO may refers to A Company 7th Texas Infantry, Anderson County.
