
A Cased Pinfire 9mm Revolver by Blanch. 10 ½” overall, 4 ¾” octagonal 9mm bore barrel, adjustable blade foresight engraved ‘J Blanch and Son London’ on the top strap. 5 shot cylinder, ejector to the right hand side, spur trigger, Liege proofs to the left hand side of the barrel. Elaborately carved grips with scrolls and a mounted cavalryman to each side, back strap engraved ‘Capt. L R Gerard’. Butt with lanyard ring. In its original oak screwed lid case with oil bottle and John Blanch and Son trade label. We have had no luck finding out who Capt. L R Gerard is, not British army or naval, might be an America officer?

The pistol is in excellent mechanical condition with 85%+ original finish.
