A Very Good 1890 Pattern Cavalry Trooper’s Sword. 39"overall, 33 ¼"
slightly curved plain steel blade with broad fuller, stamped at the
forte with ‘Wilkinson London’ and many inspector's stamps and sold out of
service mark. Back edge stamped ‘90’, half bowl hilt with rolled
edges and pierced with a Maltese Cross, ‘WD’ stamp to outside of bowl, black composition grip secured with studs, steel scabbard with fixed rings either side.
Very good condition.
