39” overall, 32 ½” diamond section blade, deeply etched and engraved on both sides with scrolling foliage, Crown GR above Britannia, 7th and regimental badge, pre 1800 Royal Coat of arms foliage and trophies of arms, and the name 'Eginton' in a ribbon. Shell guard, with regimental badge, D shaped knuckle bow, faceted pommel, twisted silver wire grip. Red silk and bullion sword knot.

Circa 1786-97

Lacking scabbard, rare sword in good condition some gilding remaining.
