Presentation Quality Pair of Over & Under Percussion Pistols by William Powell. 12” overall, 6” 50 bore barrels, slab-sided bevel edged. The top flat signed 'W Powell', Birmingham proofs, silver fore sight decorated with engraved scrolls on top of the breeches with scroll engraved tang, scroll engraved back action locks signed ‘W. Powell’ with engraved dolphin cocks. Single triggers, trigger guard engraved with acanthus scrolls, walnut butt chequered at the grip, silver escutcheons with crest and initials of I.K.Brunel. Silver grotesque mask butt caps, swivel ramrod.
