19 ½" overall, 12" round steel barrel with Kings proof stamped centrally at the breech, and ‘3rd D Gds.’, rounded double line engraved lock plate with GR cypher and Government ownership stamp and Tower across the tail, rounded swan neck cock. Walnut full stock, shaped apron around tang with storekeeper's stamp, Ordnance pattern brass furniture, wrist escutcheon, brass tipped ramrod.
