58 ½” overall. 42 ¼”, 6 bore browned twist barrel and bead fore-sight, case-hardened patent breech with one platinum line. platinum plug, numbered 10889 , finely engraved tang, signed W& J Rigby serial backaction lock finely engraved with foliage, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip, German silver mounts mounts engraved with scrollwork and foliage, silver, one barrel-bolt, and original brass-mounted ramrod, London proof mark.

In later leather and canvas case with Charles Lancaster with shot bag and flask.

Circa 1858 

In very good useable condition.
